- Mix all ingredients with ground green chillies and ginger, melted butter, curry leaves cut small, add soaked chana daal, rice flour, jeera and mix with lukewarm water. The batter should not be sticky and not too hard.Add sufficient water and mix well.
- Cover the batter with a cloth for 20 mins
- Then take a nice plastic cover and apply oil on top and make small balls and start pressing them with your palm and fingers. but apply oil for your hands too, so that they will spread nicely and thin..
- Keep oil in a kadhai and heat the oil and drop them slowly by removing them from the plastic one by one and drop them in hot oil. Oil must not be very hot. fry them nicely..and take them in a nice airtight container.
