- Take a bowl, add 1 cup besan,1 cup sooji, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 2 tsp salt(taste) and then mix. Add 2 cups of water and batter should be consistent like buttermilk.
- Take a kadhai/pan and add 2 tsp oil. Add 1 tsp ajwain, ½ asafoetida(hing),2 tsp kasthuri methi, 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste and stir fry. Now on low flame add the batter and keep stirring. Cook until the dough is made and starts leaving the pan.
- Transfer into bowl and let be cool for sometime,just like warm. Add 1tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp chhat masala,1 tsp coriander powder and ½ red chilli flakes.
- Add finely chopped onions, coriander leaves, mint leaves and 1 tsp lemon juice. Grease hand with oil and mix well while it is warm.
- Grease a plate, add the mixture on it. Keep it to cool for 20 minutes and cut in square or any design pieces. You can store upto 1 month.
- Fry the cutted pieces in oil. Crispy snacks is now ready to serve with chutney 😋.
